Submit

M–Dash publishes essays on translation and poems, stories and essays in translation. For more information on our publishing philosophy, please see our About page.

M–Dash accepts submissions twice a year, in November and May. For poetry, we ask that you submit between three and six poems; for prose, we rarely publish submissions longer than twenty pages. You must have permission from the copyright holder to publish your work. Visit our Submittable page for more information during our open submission months. Submissions of book reviews or interview pitches can be sent anytime to sarah@autumnhillbooks.org. We strive to respond to all submissions within three months, but we are a small staff so please be patient. If you haven’t heard back from us within four months, feel free to write a follow-up email inquiring about your work.
